We have been talking a lot about globalization and how the world is more and more connected.
We read pg. 175-178 in the textbook to gain a better understanding of what Globalization means and how it can be both a negative and a positive thing for quality of life.
We discussed how one way we can see globalization affecting our daily lives is through the products we use on a daily basis. This is the idea behind the 50 things project - to find the country that 50 items were made in that we use in one day, and then pick one specific item to do more in depth research on the manufacturing process.
