In class, we discussed that there are two systems of time:
- the old system, based on religion AD / BC
- the new sytem, that is more religion neutral, BCE / CE
(before current era / current era)
We use the new system in our notes and timelines.
We will be using the interactive timeline found from the Smithsonian Museum's website to match up events in prehistory with the correct dates and complete a timeline that begins with the first humans, and ends with present day.
